President Goodluck Jonathan’s Peoples Democratic Party is coasting to victory in Plateau state following results released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Of the 17 local government areas in Plateau, Jonathan has won in the nine councils, beating the All Progressives Congress candidate by 277,811 to 58,502 votes.
