*Governor Sule Lamido also summons INEC officials

The National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd) is said to be having a meeting with the service chiefs and the Attorney General of the Federation, Mohammed Bello Adoke (SAN) to review the outcome of the presidential election held 28 March.

Simultaneously, governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido summoned INEC officials to the Government House in Dutse.

The agenda of these meetings were not known.

But there were suspicions that the meeting were part of the machinations to possibly coerce the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Attahiru Jega, to declare the presidential elections inconclusive or to cancel the polls altogether.
