Mr Godwin Ikogho, the National President, Niger Delta Youth Movement (NDYM), has directed the members of the movement to work for the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan.

In a statement issued in Abuja on Friday, the movement said the actualisation of Jonathan’s re-election “is a sacred mandate and obligation“ of all the youth in the region.

The statement quoted the movement as saying that the achievements of Jonathan had contributed largely to the socio-economic development of the country.

The statement said the movement also commended the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) for its effectiveness.

The statement, nonetheless, urged the National Assembly to promptly respond to the commission’s financial needs.

“This is to enable the commission to meet up with its inherited financial challenges in the region,’’ it quoted the movement as saying.

The statement said that the National Executive Council (NEC) of the movement had unanimously endorsed Ikogho as its president.

It added that his endorsement followed the death of the movement’s former President, Mr Ajulisan Akumagba.

“The NEC of NDYM has adopted a letter from the Delta Chapter of the movement replacing the late president with Ikogho, who will complete the term of the former president,’’ the statement said.

How does Buhari a 72 year old man who wakes up every morning against the wishes of his bones pleading for for him to lay back down think that he has the vitality to rule nigeria. This man cannot even go to the bathroom without somebody holding his penis while he pees. Is Buhari the best that the opposition can present?. No seriously is Buhari the best opposition candidate or the best Muslim candidate. Which is he?

A free administration where anyone can voice out he’s or her opinion, regardless how mundane it might be. something that couldn’t be done in he passed. lets open our eyes or let doom befall us. avoid history from repeating itself we’ll vote for a good leader and that person is and will always be Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.

  • I wouldn’t want to start listing all the achievements we noticed under goodluck’s administration, but I think to transform this nation to better one, voting jonathan again will set us on that path. the transformation agenda will continue. let us gather in one accord under the umbrella.
