Senior Special Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan on Public Affairs, Doyin Okupe, did not bargain for what he got when he was disgraced at a PlayForumNG event which held on 1 February at the Congress Hall, Hilton Hotel in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

When he disparaged the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, General Muhammadu Buhari, he was booed by the guests at the event.

Okupe, known for his scurrilous attacks on APC stalwarts, resorted to saying that Buhari did not go to school and as such Nigerians should not vote for him.

But his attempts fell flat as the guests at the event vehemently disagreed and booed him in defence of Buhari. One of the people in the audience shouted: ‘Buhari is not corrupt’.

In the video of the event which is already circulating on social media, Doyin Okupe said: “General Buhari is not electable and would not be elected by the grace of God. And why I am saying that is this, Nigeria would not have a president that has not gone to school. This is not going to happen. In Nigeria it will not happen. In Nigeria it would not happen.”

And the guests chorused: “APC!! APC!! APC!! APC!! APC!! APC!! APC!! APC!! APC!! APC!! APC!! APC!! APC!! APC!! APC!! APC!! APC!! APC!!!! APC!! APC!! APC!! APC!! APC!! APC!!”.

When the booing became too strident and unbearable, Okupe walked out of the venue in shame.

This Rottweiler in human garb needs to be chained by its owner. His voice booms like the famous attack dog, except that in addition, this guy, who sadly is from the Gateway state, likes hearing his voice as he barks at his owner’s perceived enemies
