The Nigerian police in Enugu State on Sunday declared a man living in the university town of Nsukka wanted for allegedly pouring acid on his neighbour.

The acid man was identified as Ikenna Ozioko of Umuezebi, Nsukka,

According to the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr Ebere Amarizu, Ozioko’s victim, Mr Victor Onah, and the suspect live in the same compound. The reason for Ozioko’s action was not disclosed by the police.

“On Oct. 21 in Umuezebi, Nsukka, Ozioko allegedly poured a corrosive liquid substance believed to be acid on Onah over unresolved issues between both of them. After allegedly bathing the victim with the said substance, the suspect fled from the compound, leaving the victim unconscious.’’

This is the height of unrepentant wickedness. How can any sane person do this kind of thing to a fellow man? Why is he running away? So he still values his own life? The police should please get to the root of this matter and apprehend the culprit and make him pay for his crimes. His wicked head with which he thought this evil and the stupid hands that carried them out should be bathed in raw acid as well.
