Total said Tuesday the French oil giant was ready to deal with the sudden death of its CEO Christophe de Margerie, whose private jet struck a snowplough on takeoff at Moscow airport.
“The group is set up to ensure the proper continuity of its governance and its activities, to deal with this tragic event,” Total secretary general Jean-Jacques Guilbaud told reporters at the group’s headquarters in Paris.
