Prof. Joseph Olusoga Olusanya, the deputy Vice Chancellor of Tai Solarin University of Education, TASUED, Ijagun in Odogbolu local government area of Ogun state who was abducted yesterday has been freed.
He was released by his abductors late in the evening of same day.
Confirming the release, the Public Relations Officer in Ogun State Police Command, Muyiwa Adejobi, disclosed that Prof. Olusanya had been released by the kidnappers, adding that the command was not in the picture of the release.
Olusanya was kidnapped yesterday by unidentified gunmen. He was travelling between Odogbolu and Ijebu-Ode.
