A new video about the last moments of the Boko haram terrorist, described as a clone of Abubakar Shekau, is in circulation.

The video, posted by thecable.ng not only shows that the clone, identified by the military as Mohammed Bashir, was captured alive, but increases doubts about whether the man was the same person terrorising Nigeria and its government in various video clips, usually sent through some trusted channels to some media offices in Maiduguri.

Further, the short video is bound to raise some questions why the Nigerian military failed to ensure that the man was bundled to Abuja or the military headquarters to be debriefed about Boko Haram’s operations.

Last week, the US state department cast doubts over the person killed by Nigeria’s military.
“The Nigerians have announced several times that the head of Boko Haram was dead and every single time we find out that it is not true,” a senior State Department official told reporters.

“What I read recently is that Shekau’s lookalike or some Shekau impostor was killed and then I read later that maybe Shekau himself was killed. I don’t put a lot of weight on those stories until we see more evidence,” the official added, asking not to be identified.

Please watch the video and let’s know what you think.

Its obviously a differnt shekeau, but in the big picture i dont think it matters. Shekeau cant fightvalone so the more they kill the better.
