Lagos – The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says six ships laden with petroleum products have berthed at the Lagos ports.

This is contained in NPA’s daily bulletin: “The Shipping Position,” made available to newsmen on Monday in Lagos.

The bulletin said that the ships were part of the nine ships that arrived at the ports from June 4 to June 16.

According to the bulletin, the remaining three brought in steel product, gypsum and general cargo each.

It said that 45 other ships were being expected at the ports from June 16 to June 30.

It added that nine of the 45 ships would bring in petroleum products, while two would come in with fertiliser.

It said that the other ships would sail in with bulk sugar, bulk wheat, general goods, containers, bulk malt, bulk urea and rice.
