The Zik Old Students Association, Sapele (ZOSA), has condemned what it called the dastardly act of kidnapping of Sapele LG chairman, Hon. Chief Bright Abeke.

According to a statement signed by Prof. Hope Eghagha, the President and Commander A. Ekele, Secretary, “We hereby appeal to those responsible for this disturbing act to, as a matter of urgency, release him.

“He needs to get back to work immediately for the progress and growth of our dear Local Government Area.

“We appeal to all meaning Nigerians, Security Operatives, and the political class to do something urgently to get him released unconditionally.”

ZOSA is disturbed by his continued stay in the hands of his abductors.

The delay in releasing him is causing pain and distress to his family and friends.
