The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SSAP-SDGs), Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, OFR, has extended warm Easter greetings to Nigerians, calling for renewed hope, strengthened faith, and a deeper commitment to national development.

In her Easter message released by her Special Assistant on Media, Publicity and Strategic Communication, Desmond Utomwen, the Presidential Adviser emphasised the significance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ as a symbol of renewal, sacrifice, and triumph of light over darkness. She urged citizens to draw inspiration from the season by embracing unity, compassion, and collective responsibility in building a better society.

Princess Orelope-Adefulire noted that the values of Easter align closely with the principles underpinning the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly the pursuit of inclusiveness, equity, and shared prosperity.

She called on all stakeholders across government, private sector, and civil society to remain steadfast in their commitment to advancing sustainable development and ensuring that no one is left behind.

According to her, Nigeria’s progress towards achieving the SDGs requires a whole of society approach, anchored on collaboration, resilience, and sustained action.

She expressed optimism that with continued dedication and shared vision, the country would overcome its challenges and achieve meaningful development outcomes for present and future generations.
