Sierra Leone’s Minister of Finance, Hon Sheku Ahmed Fantamadi Bangura, today, witnessed the delivery of construction materials at Lungi International Airport.
The materials are meant for the construction of a congress centre, hotel, and presidential flats for ECOWAS Heads of States meeting in June 2026.

ECOWAS was formed in 1975 in Lagos, and celebrated its 50th golden jubilee in 2025.
