The Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly, Blessing Agbebaku, on Friday, February 20, 2026, donated a Hummer bus marked with the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) commercial number plate to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Agbebaku, while handing the bus marked ABJ 336 XM, to the State Chairman of APC, Jarrett Tenebe, thanked the party leadership for its foresight, leadership, and direction for all in the party.
He noted that the party has given much to its members, especially those in political office, adding that there was a need to give back to oil its wheel of progress.
“When a platform has been kind to you, you show generosity, it’s not by having millions, but having the spirit of giving which is inbred in me, you can have one naira, and you share, while some have billions and do not share.
“The bus is not for the Chairman because he has his own vehicle; it’s for the staff and other logistics needed for the smooth operations at the party Secretariat,” he said.
Receiving the bus, Tenebe, who was flanked by the State Secretary, Engr Lawrence Okah, thanked the Speaker for the donation, adding that it’s the first of its kind in recent times.
Tenebe noted that the donation came at the right time, describing means of transportation as one of the pressing needs of the secretariat.
