Sierra Leone: SLRSA New Ultramodern Headquarters To Be Completed March 2026

After 11 years since 2014, when it was conceived, and its construction started, a new befitting ultramodern building of Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority (SLRSA) will finally be completed in March 2026.

This was revealed by the Project Manager to the building, Abel Onomake, to the Minister of Transport, Fanday Turay, the SLRSA boss, James Bio, and senior management, in a conducted tour at the facility, yesterday, January 7, 2026.

SLRSA top management members, including the Executive Director, James Bio, Deputy, Josie Scott Manga, and all Directors, graced the occasion at the Africanus Road in Freetown.

Project Manager, Abel Onomake, chronicled technical details of the complex, including the licensing, conference halls, boardroom, spacious offices, canteen, gym, and other auxiliary points of activity.

SLRSA has been undergoing revolutionary reforms under the watch of James Bio and his team, who are now set to complete the much-awaited ultramodern building 11 years after it was conceived.

There is an air of sanity at SLRSA, as customers are now relatively satisfied with the progress of its activities nationwide.

This was echoed by Minister Fanday Turay, who expressed satisfaction with the progress of the building and other services by SLRSA.

SLRSA is now rated in a similar category with other African sister organisations in service delivery, due to the current passion of the Bio-led management team.
