A consultative meeting on the new Country Partnership Framework was held in Abuja on Monday, 8 December 2025. World Bank Country Director for Nigeria, Mr Mathew Verghis; Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Abubakar Bagudu; and the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Dr Deborah Odoh were there.

Also, there was a Stakeholders’ Engagement Meeting held between the Federal Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning (FMBEP) and International Non-Governmental Organisations (INGOs) in Abuja the same day.
