In an exclusive interview in his office in Monrovia, Liberia’s Defence Chief, General Davidson Fayia Forleh, spoke exhaustively on military cooperation between the countries
Details of that interview will be published in our special edition on President Boakai’s 2nd anniversary in January.
Gen Forleh did not limit the interview to military cooperation alone.
He attests to Nigeria as the power house in West Africa, politically, economically, and militarily.
Nigeria leads in trade and commerce, in conflict resolution and peacekeeping, and the promotion of democracy in West Africa.
“ Nigeria is the cornerstone of Africa’s development and security architecture. Liberia deeply values its consistent and continued leadership and friendship”.
In the informal sector, he refers to the growing trade sector dominated by Nigerians, particularly in the automotive and pharmaceutical sectors.
In the formal sector, Dangote stands tall with massive employment opportunities for the locals in the region.
