The Kogi State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has concluded arrangements for a one-day prayer program for the state and the nation on Thursday, 4th December.
State Secretary of the apex Christian body, Dc. Oloruntoba Micheal Mayomi, who made this known in a statement, said the situation in the state and country at large calls for prayers and enjoined all believers to join in seeking the face of God.
The program is scheduled to be held at the temporary Secretariat of the group, C&S, Faith and Mercy Parish, Felele, Lokoja, at 2 pm.
The terse prayer notice reads in part:
“Calvary greetings, Children of the Most High God. The situation in our state and nation calls for urgent prayers.
“In view of this, we are requesting all Christians to join us as we pray collectively to God, who alone can deliver us from the present situation.
Date: Thursday, 4th December, 2025
Venue: CAN Temporary Secretariat, C&S Faith and Mercy Parish Felele.
Time: 2 pm – 3 pm ( 1 hr)
“To our able Bloc leaders, Wowican and Yowican endeavour to mobilise your members for these all-important prayers.
“Your attendance will be highly appreciated.
