Delegates from 33 African countries that will participate in the upcoming African Road Fund Conference in Monrovia from November 17 to 21, 2025, have started arriving in Monrovia.
Proudly hosted by Liberian National Road Fund (NRF), the conference aims to elevate Africa’s road network in tandem with the goals of AFCFTA.
The conference is significant for 2 strategic reasons:
- Road connectivity is crucial to Africa’s industrialisation
- This is the first time Liberia is hosting. Liberia is now set for road infrastructural development in tandem with President Boakai’s ARREST agenda
Delegates from African countries will brainstorm on critical road networks in their respective countries and within Africa, to pave the way for rapid economic cooperation among African countries.
President Boakai is expected to open the conference on Monday 17 November, 2025.
NRF CEO, Joseta Neufville-Wento, the host, is flying the Liberian flag on the African continent.
As delegates arrive in Monrovia, all is now set for the all-important conference that will be a laboratory to solve Africa’s critical road sector as a crucial sector to Africa’s economic development.
