The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, PBAT Door-2-Door Movement, Kogi State Chapter, has commended the president for stabilising the country’s economy and staged a Road Walk in Lokoja to reaffirm its unwavering support for the administration as the general elections draw near.
Addressing newsmen at a press conference in Lokoja on Wednesday, State Coordinator of the Movement, Ms. Charity Ijese, explained that the PBAT Door-2-Door Movement was founded as a grassroots platform to bridge the gap between governance and the people.
“Today, as our dear nation celebrates her 65th Independence Anniversary, we find it timely and symbolic to reaffirm our commitment to the vision and leadership of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, whose Renewed Hope Agenda continues to inspire development, progress, and unity across our beloved country.
“The PBAT Door to Door Movement was founded as a grassroots platform to bridge the gap between governance and the people. We believe that politics must move beyond slogans to tangible engagement, and that every household, every street, every community deserves to feel the impact of purposeful leadership.
“In Kogi State, our dedicated members have resolved to take this message of renewed hope and continuity directly to the people. This is why we are organizing an awareness walk here in Lokoja today, 1st October 2025, starting from the NUJ Press Centre and terminating at Ganaja Junction.
“This peaceful exercise is not only a show of solidarity but also an expression of our belief in the capacity of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to continue steering Nigeria on the path of growth and stability.
“We are committed to a campaign built on peace, orderliness, and inclusiveness. Our activities will always reflect the values of patriotism, respect for law and order, and faith in Nigeria’s democratic process.
“We are grateful to the security agencies and other stakeholders who are partnering with us to ensure the success of this awareness walk.
The group appealed to all Nigerians to rally behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in order to consolidate on milestone already recorded and create a more prosperous future for the nation.
“Let me use this medium to call on all Nigerians, youths, women, professionals, artisans, traders, and every citizen to rally behind the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Together, let us consolidate the gains already recorded and work collectively for a brighter future.
