The pulpit has been commended for offering great spiritual services to guide Nigeria and navigate its diverse challenges.

Kogi State Police Commissioner, Miller Dantawalle, who gave the commendation on Sunday in Lokoja, the state capital, asked religious leaders not to cease in continuous prayer for swift resolution to the myriad economic and security concerns in the country.

While noting that Kogi state’s location at the centre of the country, having boundaries with nine states and the Federal Capital Territory,  FCT, makes it prone to crime, he commended the government for the prevailing state of security in the state. He also called on Nigerians to provide the security agencies with credible intelligence for effective crime control.

He was speaking at the Thanksgiving service for the 75th birthday of Mama Salami Aderin Eunice, mother of Segun Salami, the Channels Kogi State Correspondent, which held at the First Evangelical Church Winning All, ECWA, Cinema.

His words, “I beg for any kind of intelligence report from you, any information that you get. It could be in your school, your children’s school, it could be even in the church here. It can be in your place of work. If you are worried about your safety, you can give the information to the leaders, and they will pass it to me. We will treat all sources with confidentiality.”

Rev. Dr Paul O. Frank, in his message, charged the congregation on the need to give gratitude to God at all times, noting that it paves the way for more enduring blessings. He prayed for the police boss, the celebrant, and her children.
