New President, Nigerian Community in Liberia, Deacon Harrison Eva Aniukwu, presenting his acceptance speech today

A new executive of the Nigerian community in Liberia was inaugurated today, June 22, 2025, at the Nigerian Embassy in Congo Town, Monrovia.

The new President, who is serving his second term, Deacon Harrison Eva Aniukwu, was sworn in today, together with Pastor Petters Etietop, Secretary General, Jonathan Sajin, Treasurer, Isreal Obiasogu, Financial Secretary, Godwin Davis, PRO and Anthony Daniel is the Chief Provost.

Yahya Jalingo retained his position as Elder Council Chair, with a team a council of elders.

Diplomats at the Nigerian Embassy, including Acting Ambassador, HE Rahmat Mohammed, were all present at the inauguration ceremony, that was colourful and well organised.

The Inauguration was conducted by Liberian Judge Chan-Chan A Paegar, Associate Judge of the Commercial Court.
