Actress Jumoke George’s daughter, Adeola, returns from Mali
Jumoke George, Nigerian actress whose video went viral recently over her poor condition, can now heave a sigh of relief. Her daughter, Adeola, is back from Mali.
As earlier reported by The Eagle Online, Adeola has been received by the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa.
Present at the reception at the NiDCOM office is Lagos State was the host of the podcast: “Talk to B,” Abiola Adebayo, who began the process that led to her return.
Adebayo had interviewed Adeola’s mother, who said that she had been missing for about four years, leaving her with her two children.
George, who said she had been living in a church for six years and was ill, according to the report, rued the disappearance of her daughter.
Adebayo, also a Nollywood actress, then traced Adeola, who expressed her desire to return home, to Mali.
With the aide of NiDCOM and the Nigeria Embassy in Mali, Adeola eventually arrived in Nigeria on Monday afternoon.
George said after her daughter’s return: “This is nothing short of a miracle.
“I have cried. I have prayed.
“And now, I can finally hold my daughter again.”
