Her identity is as controversial as her leaked videos. While many claim she is the daughter of a senior Ivoirian pastor, others say she hails from Kenya. Still, many more can swear with their lives that she is from Tanzania. However, the lady at the heart of the storm, whose leaked videos have been described as a bomb, is none of those.
Welcome to Roselande Belony, the vivacious lady who has indeed proved to be a rose flower, beautiful but shockingly with thorns: the lady who hit the internet with her leaked videos but has also been hit by them: the lady who was stunned by the videos, but has also stunned the globe; what with her incomparable moans, the rich repertoire of her intimacy styles and the bare-faced mastery of her acts.
Who then is Roselande? Roselande is a Haitian media personality, singer, and former radio host best known for her work on Radio Télé Pacific, where she presented educational programs. She has a strong background in music and is admired for her powerful and stage presence.
Though very active in church, where she performs as a worship leader and some time preaches, the truth is, she is not a pastor’s daughter as social media has been awash with.
Roselande father, Serge Belony, seeing the ripples and backlash the scandal generated globally and the manner in which his daughter was being treated as a scum, waded into the matter. Not only did he debunk the story making the rounds that Roselande was the daughter of a pastor, he clarified other issues arising.
However, Roselande’s scandal has gone global, sparking heated debates across social platforms in countries like Ghana, Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania.
The videos of what used to be an innocent girl seemingly serious with her job and Christian life generated a storm in Haiti and led to her being forced to resign from the radio station where she had worked as a broadcast journalist.
In an exclusive phone interview with presenter of the show, Blocus, on Storm TV , Belony denied many rumours about his daughter making the rounds. He stated that he is not a pastor, but a driver and mechanic, and had not set foot in a church for more than ten years.
He went on to dispel other rumours making the rounds that Roselande had a fiance whom she had refused any intimacy before marriage and had dumped for a young lover and that it was the heartbroken fiance who released the videos on a Telegram channel called “HaitianPie” in order to pay her back in her own coin.
Belony, however, clarified issues. He explained that the man in the video was actually his daughter’s official boyfriend, and that everyone knew about the relationship, including his family and members of the church. According to him the relationship lasted for a long time, but ended about eight months earlier, due to pressure from the church.
The church, where Roselande worships, frowned at the young man’s unconventional lifestyle, braided hair, pierced ears, which, according to it did not meet the standards of the religious community. The church finally intervened to ask Roselande to end this relationship. But contrary to the viral version, it wasn’t the ex-boyfriend who circulated the videos.
Wait for this! Belony went ahead to say that the leaked videos were unintended stray bullets that hit the public without his daughter’s knowledge and consent.
According to him, trouble started when Roselande, returning from a sick visit, was assaulted by a fake motorbike taxi driver, who robbed her on gunpoint.
The robber went away with her phone and disabled security. He then broadcast the private videos and demanded a ransom by simulating a kidnap.
However, now that the videos are now in the public domain, Roselande is distraught. Still, she has decided to pick up the pieces of her shattered life.
She has not only moved on but has been posting some words of encouragement on her social media pages, thanking her fans for the support they have given her. But one thing she will never forget is that her videos are in the public domain.
And these are things netizens will never forget, for as the saying goes, the internet never forgets; what with her incomparable moans, the guy’s bestiality and the rich repertoire of her styles of intimacy.
