Bishop David Abioye, the retired Deputy Head of the Living Faith Church, has finally announced the commencement of Sunday morning service. This means that he is starting a full-fledged church.

He made the announcement on Sunday April 27, after the evening fellowship of his group.

Abioye who looked upbeat, according to Church Times report, told the excited crowd at the fellowship ground he had an important announcement.

He said. ‘Very important information. From next Sunday by the grace of God, our service is migrating to morning. Hallelujah. And the time is 8 am. God bless you mightily in Jesus’ name.”

That announcement invariably marked the end of the Sunday evening fellowship which was supposed to be interdenominational..

Bishop David Abioye was Vice President of Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners Chapel.

His unexpected retirement from his former church sent shock waves across the country with many wondering what would become of him.

Shortly after his exit from the church he launched a new spiritual platform called, Hour of Revival.

The first gathering of the Hour of Revival took place at the Velodrome of the National Stadium in Abuja, attracting a huge crowd of participants from many churches.

Bishop Abioye had emphasized that the initiative was a divine directive, ordained by God.

He told the gathering then that the revival platform was not his personal project, but rather a mission entrusted to him by God.

He encouraged participants to embrace personal revival as a pathway to corporate revival.

That call for revival has birthed a new assembly with its own form and peculiarity. It is not clear yet if the church would continue to bear the name Revival Hour or get a new name..
