Contrary to a news report making the rounds that the Olubadan of Ibadan Oba Owolabi Olakulehin is dead, Mr Michael Ogunsina the spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo State, has debunked it, saying that the traditional ruler is hale and hearty.
Ogunsina made the clarification after getting confirmation from the Oyo State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr. Wasiu Ajani Olatunbosun.that the traditional ruler of Ibadan land is alive and well. He then urged the public to ignore false report regarding the monarch’s health
In his statement, Ogunsina called on the people to ignore the purveyors of fake news and prayed for the continued well-being of the revered traditional ruler
“I just spoke with the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Oyo State, Dr. Wasiu Ajani Olatunbosun and he has confirmed to me that Kabiyesi Olubadan Ọba Owolabi Olakulehin is alive, hale and hearty.
“Kindly ignore the purveyers of fake news. Olorun a bá wà di Baba mú,” Ogunsina said
