228 graduate constables deployed to Edo Command

No fewer than 228 Constables who recently graduated from Police Training School have been posted to Edo State Police Command.

The State Commissioner of Police, Betty Enekpen Otimenyin, received the new Constables on Thursday, at the Command’s headquarters in Benin City.

Otimenyin who urged them to learn their job well, reminded them that they are “carrying a great mandate to serve the country with all their might”.

She further charged them to be diligent, dedicated, and committed to their duties, upholding the highest standards of discipline, professionalism and integrity.

A statement by the Command’s spokesman, CSP Moses Yamu, disclosed that the new addition to the Command are made up of 143 males and 85 females.

The statement noted that the Constables “are expected to bolster the Command’s efforts in maintaining law and order in the State”.

“This marks the beginning of a new chapter for the 228 Constables, who are poised to make a positive impact in the Edo State Command,” Yamu said.
