Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari, the Chancellor of Crescent University, Abeokuta congratulated the university for getting all her courses accredited by the National University Commission during the last accreditation exercise.

Gambari made this known at the 16th convocation ceremony. Of Crescent University, Abeokuta, which was held at the Bola Ajibola Auditorium on Friday, October 19, 2024.

I congratulate the University’s proprietor, the Governing Council, the Management, staff, staff, students and indeed every member of the University community for the 100 per cent accreditation  – 10 courses in all – earned from the National Universities Commission, NUC, during the last accreditation exercise.

“A lot of financial commitment and assiduous work were required to attain the benchmark. Having started my career as an academic, I am aware and must say that it is important that the NUC continues to apply its stringent benchmarks to maintain the integrity of Nigerian universities and the certificates issued to the products of the system, ” Gqmbari said.

The Chancellor had earlier noted: “Our joy today derives not only from the completion of studies by our students and this attendant convocation ceremony but also from our collective success in keeping the gates of this institution open and being in the news for the right reasons. ”
