Fubara appoints Anga Fubara,others as members Rivers State investment promotion agency governing Board

Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has appointed Anga Fubara, SAN, as chairman of the Rivers State Investment Promotion Agency Governing Board.

The Agency’ Board was one of the recommendations of the report submitted to the governor by the special committee that coordinated the hosting of the 2024 Rivers State Investment and Economic Submit in Port Harcourt.

Anga Fubara, SAN, has extensive experience in Banking and Finance, Capital Markets, Aviation,
Shipping and Energy with qualification to practice law in three jurisdictions and has a strong multi-disciplinary background in law, economics, management and fiscal policy.

A statement on Wednesday, signed by Dr. Tammy Wenike Danagogo, the Secretary to the Rivers State government,SSG, announced the appointment of Anga Fubara as Chairman of the six-member Board of the agency.

Other members so appointed to serve with him are; Dr. Chamberlain Peterside who will be the Director-General, while Mrs Tamunoibuemi Life-George will be the Secretary

The Board also has Goodleaf Nmekini, Barr. Havey Ideozu, and Dr. Mrs. Mina Ogbanga  as members.
