A Niger Delta leader High Chief Bibopere Ajube, has said the appointment of Mrs. Kpemi Ojufisintei, an indigene of Arogbo Ijaw Kingdom as a judge of Ondo State High Court is a recognition of her resplendent legal expertise, integrity, and dedication to the rule of law.
Ajube said this while commending Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for recommending Ojufisintei, an indigene of Arogbo Ijaw Kingdom to the National Judicial Commission, NJC, for appointment as a judge of Ondo State High Court.
Ajube, who is the Beleukoriwei (Pathfinder) of Arogbo Ijaw Kingdom said this in a statement made available to journalists on Friday.
While appreciating the gesture by Governor Aiyedatiwa, Ajube over the appointment, the Niger Delta leader and businessman, noted that Ojufisintei will bring immense value to the bench and significantly contribute to the administration of justice in Ondo State.
He added that Arogbo Ijaw Kingdom takes “immense pride in Ojufisintei’s jurisprudential acumen and vast experience in litigation, which have earned her this esteemed honour.”
In the the statement of appreciation addressed to Governor Aiyedatiwa, Ajube said, “Your recognition of her resplendent legal expertise, integrity, and dedication to the rule of law is a heartwarming validation of her outstanding credentials and unfaltering commitment to upholding the principles of justice.
“The Arogbo Ijaw Kingdom takes immense pride in her jurisprudential acumen and vast experience in litigation, which have earned her this esteemed honour.
“Undoubtedly, her appointment will bring immense value to the bench and significantly contribute to the administration of justice in Ondo State.
“Thank you for your support and recognition of our kingdom’s talent. We look forward to her confirmation by the relevant authorities, and her subsequent swearing-in to the judiciary.”
The NJC had on Thursday announced that Ojufisintei is one of the judges recommended for appointment as a judge of the state High Court by the Ondo State Government.
She holds a masters degree in law (LL.M) from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife.
