Kano state Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has rejoiced with the African richest man and President, Dangote Conglomerate, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, on the occasion of his 67th birthday anniversary, describing him as one of the backbones of Nigeria’s economy.

According to the Governor,  “Dangote is an illustrious son of Kano, whose  philanthropic gestures breed life and livelihood to millions of households in Nigeria and the entire African continent.”

In a statement by Sanusi Bature Dawakin-Tofa, Director General, Media and Publicity, Government House,  Governor Yusuf said:  “Dangote remains a strong backbone to the nation’s economy;  critical strength to growth and development of Africa.

“Kano, your ancestral home would remain grateful for your humanitarian gesture especially the recent distribution of palliatives to millions of less privileged passing through the present economic reality.

“Before that, you have channelled support to several sectors in Kano. Essentially, your magnanimous contribution to eradicating the deadly polio myelitis, COVID-19 pandemic and malnutrition has saved many innocent lives.

” Your readiness to partner with and support our administration’s policy drive will surely propel profoundly the social and economic development of the state.

“As you clock a new era in the annal of history, we can only wish you sound health, profound wisdom, and long life to propel positive impact on humanity.”
