Cocaine importation: Trial of 11 Philipinoes continues tomorrow

     A Federal high court sitting in Lagos south west Nigeria today Tuesday adjourned till tomorrow for the continuation of trial of eleven philipinos and their ship M V KARTERIA alleged to have conspired together to  import into Nigeria 13.65kilogrames of cocaine.
    The eleven philipinoes namely
1.GERAPUSCO FIDEL
2.ANTOLIN REYNANTE
3.BECHAYOA EDGAR
4.VOLTAIRE TEJERO
5.KENT RYAN.
6.BRYAN RAMOS
7.RALPH CHRISTOPHER,
8.MANINGO DENNIS
9.ROMNICK ALBARRACIN
10.ERVIN PABUAYA,
11.QUETUA JUDEZAR SERVILLA
were alleged to be crew members aboard M.V.KARTERIA that is standing trial alongside the defendants before the court.
       The defendants who plead not guilty when they were arraigned before the court are currently on bail.
     To date,the NDLEA Prosecutor Barrister Fingere Dinneys has so far called six witnesses in prosecuting the case.
      The four count amended charge as filed before the court against the defendants by the NDLEA prosecutor, Barrister Dinneys.
COUNT 1
That you MV KARTERIA on or about 7th November 2021at GDNL Terminal Apapa Port, Lagos within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court without lawful authority transported 13.65 Kilogrammes of cocaine, a narcotic drug and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under section 11(b) of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency Act Cap N30 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004.
COUNT 2
That you GERAPUSCO FIDEL (M), Adult, ANTOLIN REYNANTE (M), Adult, BECHAYOA EDGAR (M), Adult, VOLTAIRE TEJERO, (M), Adult, KENT RYAN (M), Adult, BRYAN RAMOS (M), Adult, RALPH
CHRISTOPHER (M), Adult, MANINGO DENNIS (M), Adult, ROMNICk ALBARRACIN, ERVINPABUAYA,QUETUA JUDEZAR SERVILLA M Adult, sometime between October and November,2021conspired among yourselves to unlawfully transport 13.65
Kilogrammes of cocaine  a narcotic drug and   thereby  committed an offence contrary to and punishable under section 14,(b) of the National  Drug Law Enforcement Agency Act Cap N30 laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004.

That you GERAPUSCO FIDEL (M), Adult, ANTOLIN REYNANTE (M), Adult, BECHAYOA EDGAR (M), Adult, VOLTAIRE TEJERO, (M), Adult,

JUDEZAR SERVILLA (M), Adult, sometime between October and
November, 2021 conspired among yourselves to import 13.65 Kilogrammes of Cocaine, a narcotic drug aboard the vessel MV KARTERIA and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under section 14(b) of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency Act Cap N30 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004.
