PDP presidential primary: Tambuwal withdraws, asks supporters to vote for Atiku

Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State:

Governor Aminu Tambuwal withdrew from the contest for the Peoples Democratic Party 2023 presidential ticket just before delegates began voting to select the candidate of the party at National Stadium, Abuja on Saturday.

The Sokoto State Governor who had earlier said he has all the qualities needed to be president of Nigeria asked his supporters to support the aspiration of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar.
