Now, You, Jonathan, Can Contest for 2023 Presidential Election – Court

Former President Goodluck Jonathan can now contest for the 2023 election which may see him go back to Aso Rock. That was the verdict of the Federal High Court, presided over by residing judge, Justice Isa Hamma Dashen, in Yenagoa today. It ruled that he is eligible to contest.

Moreover, the judge said Jonathan’s “right to vie for the office of president again cannot be stopped by any retroactive law.”
