Rivers Govt. bans elections into Community Devt. Committees

Rivers Government has suspended with immediate effect all Community Development Committee,CDC, elections in Ikwerre Local Government and all other Local Government Areas of the State.

In a statement, Paulinus Nsirim, Rivers Commissioner for Information and Communications directed Local Government Chairmen and security agencies  to ensure that the suspension is implemented fully.
