Nigerian Government on Wednesday confirmed five new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country. 

The Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire,  confirmed the new cases during a press briefing in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

According to him, three of the victims came from the United States of America including a mother and child.

He added that  two others also from the US, including an American who came via the  Nigeria’ s land border.
