The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted sunny and hazy with partly cloudy to cloudy weather conditions and localised thundery activities over most parts of the country on Thursday.
NiMet’s Weather Outlook on Wednesday in Abuja predicted partly cloudy to sunny conditions over the central states with day and night temperatures of 33 to 42 and 18 to 27 degrees Celsius.
It also predicted chances of thundery activity over Abuja during the afternoon and evening period.
The agency predicted that Northern States would experience sunny and hazy conditions with day and night temperatures of 36 to 43 and 22 to 29 degrees Celsius.
According to NiMet, Southern states will experience cloudy conditions during the morning hours.
“Localised thunderstorms are likely over this region during the afternoon and evening hours with day and night temperatures of 33 to 37 and 20 to 26 degrees Celsius.
“Sunny and Hazy conditions are anticipated over the northern cities with chances of localized thunderstorms over some parts of the inland and coastal cities in the next 24 hours,” NiMet predicted.
