As observed in Ibadan, capital of Oyo state, INEC officials reported in virtually all poling booth between 7am and 8am. Before 8am, they had set the u it with the assistance of electorates who were seeing helping them to put things in place.
As voters were getting to the polling units, they were pucking numbers and checking their names on the pasted voters register.
The combined team of security made up of policemen, members of civil defence, immigration, custom, prison and DSS were seeing around Ibadan.
Soldiers heavily armed were parading.
Roads were blocked with tyres and in some parts with police bicycles.
The roads are deserted.
As at the time of filing, the state is peaceful
