Makarfi, PDP guber candidate lose LGs to APC in Kaduna

Kaduna State Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Isah Ashiru has lost his local government in the Presidential election.

Similarly, former National Chairman of PDP, Sen Ahmed Makarfi also lost his local government area to the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the polls.

According to  Presidential results declared by Prof. B.B Shehu, INEC State Collation Officer, the APC has taken  lead in six of the nine local government areas of which results were announced.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Kaduna State has 23 local government areas. The result of Kudan showed that APC scored 30,577 while the PDP got 11,692 votes in the last Saturday’s  Presidential poll.
