Dr Kayode Fayemi has been declared as the validly elected governor of Ekiti State after the Election Tribunal sitting in Abuja unanimously struck out the case of the Peoples Democratic Party Governorship candidate in Ekiti State, Olusola Eleka on Monday.
The candidate of PDP in the July 14, 2018, governorship election had challenged the declaration of Gov. Fayemi of APC as the validly elected governor.
Kolapo , who recorded a total of 178,223 votes in the election, had alleged irregularities in the election, won by Fayemi with a total vote count of 197, 459
