The Ekiti State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal will on Monday, January 28 deliver Judgment in the election petition instituted by the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, Prof Olusola Eleka, against the victory of the incumbent, Dr. Kayode Fayemi of All Progressives Congress, APC.
The decision was communicated to the legal counsels of the two parties on Friday, according to a report by a news website, Upshot.
The Tribunal had on Wednesday January 9, adjourned indefinitely to deliver judgment in the petition challenging the declaration of Dr. Kayode Fayemi of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as winner of the governorship poll that held in the state on July 14, 2018.
The three-man panel Tribunal headed by Justice Suleiman Belgore adjourned the case indefinitely, after all the parties adopted their final written addresses.
