Atiku with some women supporters

The National Coordinator of Atiku Abubakar Support Group, Dr Nath Iduma, has challenged members of Atiku support groups to make use of the social media to canvass support for the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar fora landslide victory in the 2019 elections.
Iduma made the call on Thursday in Abuja during an interactive session organised by Coalition of Atiku four Largest Support groups, with the theme: ” Turning the popularity of Atiku/Obi into Electoral Success.”

He said that Atiku needed wide margin winning votes that would made the election results impossible to be rigged, according to the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN.
Iduma described Abubakar and his running mate, Peter Obi, as tested and successful businessmen with the capacity to govern Nigeria successfully.
” I believe that if we have people that can run government as they run business, then that government is going to succeed.
“In Yola, Abubakar has several investments and when both of them come together, the problem of the country which is unemployment will be handled,” he said.
Iduma also advised the PDP and its candidate to invest on the youth.
The National Youth Leader of the PDP, Udeh Okoye, also advised the support groups to dominate the Social Media and counter propaganda against candidates of the party.
“Our product Abubakar is a good market, so we have to sell him to Nigerians. Larger number of voters are not in the social media but their influencers are in the social media.
“We should influence our people who have registered to get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) .
“We also need to influence the voters who are in the villages to get Android phones so that they can join the discussions,” Okoye said.
The National Convener of of the coalition of Atiku Four Largest Support Groups, Ike Okoronkwo, said that the groups had mobilised over 10 million youths across the country for Atiku.
He added that before the 2019 general elections, the groups would mobilise about 20 million voters across the 774 local government areas for the PDP presidential candidate.
The event was attended by various support groups including Atiku100% led by Dr T.M. Kassim, Atiku care foundation and IamAtikulated led by Okoronkwo Bishop including the Spokesperson of Atiku Presidential Campaign Organization Segun Sowunmi.(
