2018 AITEO final: Rangers will lift trophy via resilience, experience, says TM

Team Manager of Rangers International FC, Enugu Amobi Ezeaku says he is optimistic that Rangers will lift the 2018 AITEO trophy due to the present form of its players, their resilience and experience.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Rangers will clash with Kano Pillars FC in the final of 2018 AITEO Cup (Federation Cup) on Oct. 24 at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba in Delta by 4 p.m.
Ezeaku told NAN in Enugu on Wednesday that team officials and players were determined and resolute to bring the trophy back to Enugu.
“Rangers will be going into the final with self determination, strong passion and the never-say-die spirit of the founding fathers of the club.
“Sincerely, I have no doubt that the match will come out positive for our darling Flying Antelope and our teeming fans within and outside the country,’’ he said.
According to him, Rangers will never disappoint its teeming die-hard fans who only want the trophy and the continental ticket that go with it.
“Within this last week after the semi-final match, we have received much encouragement from our die-hard fans all over the country.
“Thousands of them have vowed to come all out on Oct. 24 to cheer us to victory in Asaba.
He also said that the fans had ensured that they would escort the trophy home, that evening, to Enugu.’’
Ezeaku, however, lauded Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for his strong financial support to the club, General Manager of the club, Davidson Owumi, other club officials and the players for their stride so far.
Rangers International FC Supporters’ Club has set-up a five-man committee to mobilise supporters across the country for the trip to Asaba.
The club is targeting of mobilising over 10,000 fans as well as over 50 commercial buses to Asaba to cheer Rangers to victory.
