A 30-year-old man, Muhammad Hassan, was on Wednesday docked at an Oredo Magistrates’ Court in Benin City for allegedly stabbing his customer, Mr Emeka Nwoku, with a knife.
Hassan is being tried for causing bodily harm, according to the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN.
Police Prosecutor Patrick Agbonifo told the court that the accused committed the offence on July 29.

The accused, however, pleaded not guilty.
Ruling on the bail application of the accused, the Magistrate, Mrs I.A. Osayande, granted him bail in the sum of N190,000 and a surety in like sum.
She adjourned the case until Aug. 16 for hearing.
