Following his interest to contest for the number one seat in Ogun State under the Labour Party, the former Green Eagles Captain and an ex international player, Chief Segun Odegbami, today registered and received his membership card.
Odegbami was welcomed by the State Chairman of the party in Ogun State, Comrade Abayomi Arabambi who supervised the registration.
Odegbami said he decided to join the Party because he was convinced of the party’s programmes and manifesto.
He said he would make the welfare of the people of the state a priority if elected governor in 2019.
He added that qualitative health care delivery and education would be his priority when he gets to power.
Odegbami added: “Our government which would be led by Labour Party will provide qualitative healthcare delivery system by building hospitals where necessary. Necessary facilities for proper care, including drugs and personnel would be provided.
“I believe that only people with sound health can work and even enjoy any amenities provided by government”.
Abayomi said that Odegbami is one of the credible individuals in the country today.
