1. Tiwa’s Vibe, the new music video of Mavin’s First Lady- Tiwa Savage, is currently trending as number one on YouTube channel.

The 3-minute dramatic video which featured an all female cast, beautifully choreographed dance moves and lighting aesthetics, was directed by award winning director, Clarence Peters.

2. Skales has officially released a 17 track album, ”Mr Love,” which features a number of artistes including, Tiwa Savage, Sarkodie, Afro B, Phyno and Cassper Nyovest.

‘Mr Love’ is Skales’ third solo album in three years after releasing ‘Man of the Year’ in 2015 and ‘The Never Say Never Guy’ in 2017.

3. Universal Music Group, an international music recording label, has announced the signing of top Africa music stars Vanessa Mdee (Tanzania) Tekno (Nigeria) Mr. Eazi (Nigeria) and Stone Bwoy (Ghana).

The Label said it planned to launch a strategic division in Lagos, Nigeria under the leadership of Mr Ezegozie Eze Jr., who had been appointed General Manager, Universal Music Nigeria.

4. Blackface, the ‘Hard Life’ singer says 2face his former Plantashun Boiz bandmate, has filed a N50m suit against him over his age-long claim that he wrote ‘Let Somebody Love You’ and ‘African Queen’.

Blackface on Instagram, revealed he would engage his legal team to file for a defence in the suit, afterwhich he would release his album Rising Sun (Defender Vol2).

5. Nigerian award winning comic writer Nnedi Okorafor has been commissioned by Marvel Comics to write a standalone book for Black Panther character ‘Shuri’.

Shuri, who gained global acceptance and fan base after the release of the blockbuster ‘Black Panther’, is the younger sister of lead character T’Challa; her series is expected to bring a domestic conflict between technology and leadership.

6. “Faces,” an international film starring Nigerian media personality, Oreka Godis, will have its world premiere at the upcoming 39th Durban International Film Festival.

Directed by British Nigerian filmmaker, Joseph Adejuwon Adesunloy, “Faces” also stars South African actress Terry Pheto, Shingai Shoniwa, Aki Omoshaybi, Suzette Lewellyn and Matthieu Charneau.
