Katsina Emirate Council mourns ACF Chairman, Coomassie

The Katsina Emirate Council has expressed shock over the death of Alhaji Ibrahim Coomassie, the Chairman, Arewa Consultative Forum(ACF).

Coomassie was the ‘Sardaunan Katsina’, a traditional title in the emirate, and a former Inspector-General of Police.
The Secretary of the council, Alhaji Bello Ifo, said that Coomassie’s death was a great loss to the nation.
He said that Sardauna was a trustworthy and honest person.
Coomassie died at the age of 76 in Katsina on Thursday evening after a protracted illness.
He will be buried on Friday after Jumaat prayer.
