Egypt’s economy grew 5.4% in 12 months- PM

Egypt’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 5.4 per cent in the 2017-2018 fiscal year that ended on June 30, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said on Tuesday.

In a televised address to parliament, he said the government was targeting GDP growth of eight per cent by the 2021-2022 financial year.
