Death of Bode George’s son: Governor Dickson sends condolence message

Bode George

Governor Henry Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State has condoled with former PDP Deputy National Chairman, Chief Bode George on the death of his son, Dipo who died last Thursday in Lagos, after a brief illness!

The Governor in a press statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Francis Ottah Agbo prayed God to give the George family the fortitude to bear the loss, as well as for the repose of Dipo’s soul.

According to Gov. Dkckson:

“My thoughts and prayers are with our leader, Chief Bode George. I am saddened by the untimely demise of your beloved son, Dipo. This is clearly a difficult moment for George and the family. But I am consoled by the fact that Dipo lived for his generation and championed worthy causes, virtues I believe, are worthy of emulation…

“Death is inevitable, so what is important is not how long one lives but how well one lives. I know death cut down Dipo at his prime but as Christians, we can not grieve in perpetuity but look on to God for the repose of his soul. May the good Lord grant George and the family the fortitude to bear what is clearly an irreparable loss.”
