As the 80th Posthumous Birthday of the late Legal Icon and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (and the Masses), Chief Gani Fawehinmi is marked today, Prof Wole Soyinka will deliver a keynote address. The Celebration holds at the Regency Hall, Central Business District, Ikeja, Lagos. Time is 1pm.
The event being organized by the Gani Fawehinmi immediate family members and Civil Society activists will be chaired by the Nobel Laureate. Other Guest Speakers are former MILAD of Lagos State, Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu, Alhaji Balarabe Musa, Senator Sheu Sani, Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin, former Governors Adams Oshiomole and Dr Olusegun Mimiko.

Earlier on same Sunday, the Lagos State Government will be unveiling the New Gani Fawehinmi Statue at the popular Gani Fawehinmi Park Ojota Lagos by 12noon.
