Amidst the ongoing strike action embarked upon by the non academic staff of Nigerian universities, the University of Ibadan, UI, is to commence the 2017/18 clearance for incoming undergraduate students.
The clearance would take place between Monday March 12 and Monday 19, 2018 and only the candidates who have successfully paid their acceptance fees would be able to access the clearance portal.
In a statement obtained from the university’s website, candidates were advised to ensure that all downloaded forms/documents are properly filled before being re-uploaded adding, “Very clear scanned documents should be uploaded in JPEG and/or PNG format and not more than 1MB. Please note that illegible documents will cause a delay in your clearance”.
The industrial action by the academic supporting staff commenced since December 2017.
